Katie James

Katie graduated from the University of Houston Law Center. Today, Katie is an adjunct law professor at the University of Houston Law Center. When Katie is not teaching, she is seeking justice in the courtroom on behalf of her clients. Having handled hundreds of lawsuits on behalf of injured Texans, Katie was selected as a Thomson Reuters Texas Rising Star in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Texas are selected to receive this honor. In 2018, Katie was inducted into the prestigious Texas Bar College. Katie is also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. Election to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a member of the State Bar of Texas, each year only the top 1/3 of 1% are invited to become Fellows. Finally Katie proudly serves on the Advocates Committee Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
